Rob Maupin
Rob Maupin has over
11 years of experience with web hosting and Internet-related product companies,
and brings a wealth of product development and management experience to
the team. As CTO of FLY Technology, Rob was responsible for the
definition of all aspects of Fly Technology product architectures and
future technology strategies. He served as the company's primary
corporate technical spokesman, and was responsible for managing the
engineering team.
Prior to joining Fly,
Rob was the Area Vice President of Product Development at HostPro, the
largest business-class web hosting company in the world. Rob understands
scalability: at HostPro he was responsible for the technical planning and
migration of 90,000 customers, 150,000 web sites (over 1,000 individual
servers) from seven different data centers, 9 billing systems, 100+
billing plans, 7 different OS's, with over 90 different configurations to
one location, four server types, 24 configurations and one billing
system. By integrating and offering scalable, redundant, easy-to-use
products and services, Rob’s solutions increased company-wide revenue in
millions of dollars
Previously, Rob
served as Nationwide Director of Web Hosting Engineering and Development
for EarthLink, the second largest hosting company in the world, where he
directed five core areas containing a cross-functional professional group
of 20 team members in the provisioning, support, engineering development
and integration of products/services for the EarthLink web hosting
division. Before EarthLink, Rob was a Product Manager for Sprint Internet
Passport overseeing registration, account creation and Sprintsite.com.
Rob has a Bachelor of
Science in Finance and minor in Computer Information Systems from Southwest Missouri State
University.
Robert R. Granadino
Bob Granadino has been a successful
result driven marketing professional with 18 years of experience at
technology and media companies.
His flair for creating new products and business development
opportunities has included product creations that have generated over
$400 million in annual revenues.
Bob established and led EarthLink’s
highly successful broadband business.
He was a founding executive team member at Boingo Wireless helping
to establish them as a nexus for the Wi-Fi industry. Bob conceptualized and created Toshiba
MyConnect service, the nation’s first wholly-owned mobile Internet
service by a PC manufacturer. He
has spearheaded the relationship management with Fortune 500 partners
including Sprint, Microsoft, Intel, SBC and McDonalds.
Bob is the creator of 7 utility
patents for the ergonomic computer keyboard and holds a BA from the University of California,
Berkeley.
Bruce R. Shirey
Mr.
Shirey is an accomplished entrepreneur and a seasoned executive
management professional with over 20 years experience in business and
product development across several industries. Mr. Shirey’s career has traversed
across Fortune 500 and Start-up companies. His duties have included executive
management of business development, marketing, sales, operations, and
strategic acquisitions.
As Vice President, of Way Systems, Inc., he
manages Global Service Development for the company’s patented wireless
mobile payment products using cellular phones and technologies.
As Vice President, of First Data Corporation,
he managed Business and Product Development for emerging markets such as
Wireless Mobile Payments, QSR over IP, Petroleum & C-Stores over IP
and the Gift & Loyalty.
As Senior Vice President of Internet Solutions
and Payments for Cardservice International, Mr. Shirey was a pioneer in
the Internet Electronic Payments industry where he created Applications,
QA and Software development teams that designed and built one of the
first and most successful secure payment gateways that serves over 60,000
merchants and processes more than $8B annually.
Prior to joining the electronic payments
industry, Mr. Shirey accumulated more than 15 years of logistics
management proficiency within the High Tech industry. He was the Founder and Vice President
of venture capital funded FRS, inc., a $32 million Global Inventory
Management Company (USA * Europe) with over 100,000 square feet of
specialized inventory outsourcing services, repair & remanufacturing
with direct-to-location deployment services of computer peripheral spares
inventory for the majority of computer and peripheral manufacturers and
OEMs. After the company was
acquired, Mr. Shirey served as service industry expert and consultant to
Solectron Corporation for 13 months.
After serving five years in the US Navy
Submarine Service, Mr. Shirey began his career in the electronics
industry and attended California
State University,
Fullerton,
where he majored in Marketing and Economics.
